Ultrasound

Ultrasound is frequently used in animals to diagnose pregnancy, but more importantly it can be used to look at the internal organs of your pet without putting them through surgery. The ultrasound machine produces sound waves to create images of your pet's internal organs. Sound waves are not harmful to your pet, this makes ultrasound a safe diagnostic tool for evaluating the organs in the abdomen, including the liver, gallbladder, spleen, kidneys, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary bladder.

We have a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine in our clinic that is the same as the one’s used in human hospitals by radiologists. We have the capability to send these images to a veterinary radiologist for further interpretation if necessary.
