Radiographs (x-rays) allow us to detect arthritis, foreign bodies in the intestine, fractures, and many other problems. It is also helpful in the diagnosis and in monitoring of cardiac (heart) diseases. We have a digital x-ray machine. Digital x-ray machines allow for faster development of x-rays, improved image quality, and the ability to easily email images to other veterinarians. We can easily consult with veterinary radiologists off-site to help diagnose complicated medical conditions.

We also have digital dental x-ray to help in the diagnosis of dental disease and assess severity of dental problems. We recommend dental x-rays to see if there are teeth that need to be extracted or teeth that can remain in place.
